Lady Vols Summitt-Wooden Room Dedicated
Pat Summitt has two basketball courts, a gym and a campus street named after her. Now she has a room at the NCAA Headquarters named in her honor as well.

Cool. Pat is definitely getting a ton of recognition. She was already a top-5 best coach of all time in any sport, but her dementia has really put her over the top as a public figure. Kind of a strange phenomenon IMO. But you can't really deny any credit or recognition that she's been given. She deserves every ounce of it.

Wooden doesn't deserve to have his name linked to Summitt's like this. Without Sam Gilbert buying him players, most of us would have never heard Wooden. I will never place Wooden in Summitt's galaxy as a coach. That is all.

John Wooden is like Barry Bonds. He was probably not even close to being the only major cheater in his sport. Yet, Wooden continues to be revered as an all-time great, and Bonds can't get into the HOF. One guy had someone buy him amazing talent to coach; the other guy allegedly/apparently used PEDs. They both were the greatest of their time but did it ("allegedly") on the strength of breaking the rules in a big way.
