Lady Vols Softball Camps

I was just wondering if anyone has sent their kids to any of the Lady Vols softball camps and if so can offer an opinion of them. Do you feel your kid benefited from the camp? Were there so many kids that you felt they just got lost in the crowd? Before i shell out $175 dollars for a 2 day camp I want to be sure it's worth it.

The speed camp was worth the money. My daughter got noticeably faster after that camp. The general hitting/pitching/fielding camps have alot of bodies and you can probably get the same info at a cheaper camp closer to home. Now if your child is high school age (14-16) and is an elite prospect then she should absolutely attend because UT recruits 3 years in advance and you have to be noticed early...otherwise its a waste of money and time in my opinion.

My daughter is only 11 and is a catcher. Was thinking of sending her to the pitcher/catcher camp July 9th

Taking my 8 yo to the camp next week. I expect it to be crowded and could probably benefit more from a local hs camp. But, shes 8 and its about having fun and making memories.
