Mel was 2 for 3 (double off the top of the wall & 1 rbi)in a pinch hit & finish the extra inning game against Traina in Tuscaloosa and 1 for 2 (hr & 2 rbi, K)against Traina @ WCWS... they didn't reenter her to hit but did reenter her to run and she scored the 3rd run in the 5-3 loss WCWS game.
I bought a handful of balls @ WCWS and asked Melissa and the team to sign... which they did.... we are enroute home from OKC... will be back in Fresno Tuesday afternoon! Mel will be back in Fresno late Wednesday afternoon. | |

Mel will be back in Fresno late Wednesday afternoon. | Mel will be one of the best hitters next season - some posters are crowing about lack of hitting but it will be there, I think -- just hope the Renfroes dont throw alot of innings in summer ball --- again a great season GLV BTW watched the replay on ESPN 3 and saw the HR ball given to you  | |

| I'm pleased with the over all season. They did good and went far. They have got to get better pitching. They got to get one that can take over the game. Watching bama and Okla, now they got some good pictures. Not saying ours are shabby,just saying we need better if were going to the top.

LOL at her "defensive weakness" she was a "First Team All State" playing in California.
