What I read was that she had surgery, is playing in turkey, and is apparently able to play 39+ minutes in a basketball game again....the team that selected her noted a lack of big body post players led them to selecting Cain noting that if she can be healthy her upside is huge

There has to be more to this Cain story than what we've been told. Something is not right here.

Having 2 top 5 players drafted and not making the final 4 is a choke job imo.

If this was men's basketball then yes, but since this is women's basketball then no. Since people enter the draft early in men's then if you are drafted in the top5 you are one of the top five players in the country, but in women's it only signifies that you are one of the top five seniors in the country. I wish Stricklen and Johnson the best of luck, but I can name some younger players that are better than them.

Women ball players can enter the WNBA before their senior year. Just FYI

I thought they had to be within a year of graduating.

I'm well aware of that, and nowhere in my post did I say that they couldn't. I just said that it is not like men's where players leaving early is commonplace (i.e. if this was men's Griner would most likely already be in the WNBA)

Actually - you did imply it by the below bolded statement, but its neither here nor there. I see your point.

Yep. Atleast it got us ready for what we will see in the future, until Holly gets fired.
