OK. I read more about it. She has very good reasons not to participate-being a junior in college with work to do, her mother ill and possibly wouldn't have been picked anyway. So, she took her name out of consideration. Only two college women have played in the Olympics and that was a long time ago. She can play in the next Olympics...she's young. Her Father is an ex-Marine and is in law enforcement (a sheriff I think) and I just don't have the ability to think like some here that he decided to dress his little boy as a girl all those years so he could play women's sports and have an advantage.
