| | Junior Member | Tyler Summitt Should Ne New Assistant As soon as this young man graduates he had better be hired as an assistant by the Lady Vols. He has basketball running to the core of his soul, he was born on orange, his name recognition is off the charts, the Summitt connection to the Vols must be maintained and I am sure it would make his mother real proud! |

| Can we stop with all the top of Tyler Summitt as a UT basketball coach? Get real. The kid has ZERO coaching experience. Maybe he could become the team's coach--in 20 years. |

Plus...he's what, 22? 23? Tops...
I have no doubt that he will one day coach but lets let him graduate college first. |

| Agree he will be a vol or lady vol coach and probably head coach at some point in his future. The kid is full of character and seems very bright. If basketball is what he focuses on for his future, which I believe it will be, then he will be very, very successful. |

| Beat me to it. Coach Pat took over at age 23. Different era, but if he wants a GA position, it should be a no brainer! |

He has stated a desire to get his feet wet out from underneath his mother's influence. He has offers from Roy Williams, Billy Donovan, and a couple others on the men's side, but he said he prefers the women's game. He has offers from Kim Mulkey at Baylor, Carolyn Peck before she retired and several others as well. His next move will be in coaching at the graduate assistant level, men's or women's , but he has admitted it will be tough leaving the area to pursue that in light of Pat's condition. |

1. One is a legend
2. One is not a legend. |
