| Time to become a Sky fan. I wish Angie well in the city with big shoulders. Angie and Courtney Vandersloot will inject the Sky with lots of hustle and W's. I'm sure Angie will take pointers from fellow Lady Vols alum Shyra Ely.

That's why most play in Europe during the offseason. | I did some checking just out of curiosity and 100K is the max for any player. 35K is the rookie minimum and it goes up from there. They aren't eligible for the max until after 6 years in the league. They also get bonuses for playoff appearances and league awards. Still pittance compared to the men, but in this case I understand it. Salaries come from revenue and the income for the Association is obviously much greater than for the WNBA.

| can't find it exactly but one article said the top players make between $200-400k/season in Europe. One said top players in Russia are making over $500k | |
