| Coach used a bad name for Womens basketball
the C word,for DBs womens basket ball team in a practice,I was just made aware of this recently, what should I so about this ?
I promised not to call and say anything to the school,because of fear for retaliation from the coach or school for the player, I think this happened around Oct or so of last year
Is there some other avenue of a complaint to use ? I can't really call them without them knowing who it is,any input would be appreciated

| As a coach, I have a lot of intensity and occassionally things slip out of my mouth. Happened to me yesterday. I apologized even though it wasn't direct at a player. Be a man and talk to the coach about it. Find out the whole story. If you are going to complain, use your name and don't be a pansy. The coach will figure out who it was and it will affect your child more than if you just go talk to coach yourself. Also, when children get mad at a coach they bring up everything to get you mad at the coach so you will retailate. Last year I had a kid go tell his dad I cussed him and said somethings way over the line. The father called and was going to kick my arse. When I pulled in the next morning, both he and his son where there waiting to apologize. His son had fabricated the story and put everyone in a bad situation. Not saying using the "C" word was right but have a backbone and confront the coach about it. Don't weasel your way around the situation that happened forever ago because you or your child is now upset at the coach for a separate reason. | |
