Elizabethton beat the Erwin Blue Devils Friday night. The Cyclones had 8 possessions the first half and scored on every possession to lead 55-7 at the half. Almost every player dressed played in the 62-14 rout.
The Cyclones are 6-1 for the season.

Elizabethton sucks. Alcoa will stomp them. My sons grasscutter team could have beaten erwin that bad lol. Whoever posted this get a life.

We used to play in one of the best conferences in east Tennessee. Bristol, DB, and Johnson City were highly ranked at one time. Bristol won the state title back in the 70's or 80's. But hat been years ago. Things change over time. I'm not saying that we're good. Even if the Cyclones were to be in the playoffs, we probably wouldn't make it more than one round. We used to play Oak Ridge in basketball and football back in the 60's when Oak Ridge had a powerhouse in football.

I'll even brag about another county(Carter) team. That being Hampton(Bulldogs). They had one of the best basketball lineups in high school basketball from 59-62. They gopt to the elite 8 twice and final 4 twice winning state once. I also believe their coach -Buck Vanhuss led Kingsport to a state title in basketball.
