If shutting down a future Big Ten player doesn't motivate Maryville, I'll be shocked. It will be fun to witness history if South wins though (as in, I should be in attendance).

How is smyrna lucky to make it this far? I've been to all three of their playoff games and luck had nothing to do with either win.

I didn't say anything about who might win friday nights game, but I would like for you to explain your idiotic statement that smyrna is lucky to be there.

| You're obviously a little smyrna homer who is offended by reality. So stop kidding yourself and stop flaming.
Would you like a tissue? |

With the way this thread has gone, am I the only one that hopes Smyrna wins even though I have no dog in this race?

Hey man I coached just about half of Smyrna's team in the midstate league I think I know more about them then you do and belive me win or lose friday they deserve to be there. They may not be as good as Bearden but they are the best the midstate has to offer.

Plain biased and now all credibility is lost. No point in even trying to have a conversation with a guy with Smyrna goggles on.
They may be the best the midstate has to offer - but I guess that isn't saying too much this year.

smyrna has seen good defense and great line play before i.e. Riverdale and Brentwood Academy. Bearden hasn't seen a spread offense like smyrna's. Also smyrna has the experience of being here before, its bearden's first time. if nothing else you've gotta call it a close game. i'll go with the experience and home team, smyrna in a great, hard nosed game.

Biased has nothing to do with your stupid statement thats in guestion you said smyrna was lucky to make it this far explain that.I'm not saying your wrong on thinking bearden will win I Can't say one way or the other because I haven't seen them and I would't say that they'er lucky to be there. I think both teams have earned it.

Middle Tennessee has dominated 5A football for a while now, and I think Smyrna wins this game by 7-10 points.
