David Price's contract can only help him. I would really like to see Sonny go to the Yankees and he and David face one another in Red Sox Yankees world series.

Athletics general manager David Forst said Tuesday that the club will not trade Sonny Gray this offseason.
"We are not trading Sonny Gray," Forst said emphatically. There had been some speculation that Oakland might seek to deal their ace as they look to re-tool again, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Gray's salary will go up a lot this winter as he reaches arbitration, but he will still be affordable even for the small-market A's for a few years. The righty held a 2.73 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 169/59 K/BB ratio over 208 innings in 2015. Nov 10 - 5:12 PM

Very happy for him. I grew up with his father in Springfield, TN and he is a deserving young man. He has been through a lot.
