Baylor v McCallie

35-3 McCallie with 9 min left in the game.

Looks like the Blue Tornados will be ending the Red Raiders' 6 game winning streak.

(This is apparently the first time this game's been played at McCallie - rather than at UTC's Finley Stadium - since 1998)

And the students rush the field to celebrate that streak ending...also fireworks, apparently.

Acutually, Father Ryan/MBA is the oldest rivalry in the State. :hi:

McCallie-Baylor started in 1905. Father Ryan - MBA started in 1926, did it not?

I think the issue in the meeting numbers is that McCallie and Baylor had to stop/cancel the game from 1940 to 1971 (if I recall correctly, the reasoning was that it got bad around the late 30s/early 40s; there were like multiple incidents of fights and/or vandalism and such in the city of Chattanooga between either students from or fans of the two schools).

Baylor-McCallie would be an older rivalry, but Father Ryan-MBA looks like it would be the longer continuous rivalry (from 1945 on).
