Best Team in the State

Jalen Hurd is not just the best player in the state. He is gonna be one the best players in the country. That being said beech would have destroyed anyone they played Friday night, and rightful so Is the number 1 team in the state.

3. Beech (yes, Beech)
4. Whitehaven
5. Maryville

Ensworth and MUS are more balanced on both sides of the ball. Beech's offensive line + Jalen Hurd was not going to be stopped. Period.

Whitehaven beat Maryville straight up, regardless of what these Rebel fans try to say. They had every damn opportunity in the world to win the game but didn't. There was an equally ludicrous roughing the kicker called against Whitehaven that basically gift wrapped Maryville a touchdown.

And on that 2pnt converson, take a closer look at that call and see just how bull crap it was. Other than it being a bad call, another card was also played. The call wasn't roughing the kicker, it was running into the kicker which is what he did. He didn't hit him hard but that is not the rule. It didn't give Maryville a first down but they went ahead and scored on 4th down. The 2 pt. call wall wrong as there wasn't a lineman downfield. Maryville lost because they didn't hold on to the ball like they normally do.

And why Tennessee didn't get that Dotson kid from Whitehaven is another strike against Drooley. Haven't seen a kid that dominant since Randall Cobb.

The University of Memphis belongs in there somewhere with the best high school teams in Tennessee.

The east tn teams are better coached and have more discipline, Memphis has more talent, Ensworth has a mixture. The Ensworth kids are very respectful. Met some of there players. Was impressed by their attitude
