Aslong as he doesnt have only one leg, I think he has the position. Even if he only has one leg, we may still consider him.

I think we should just ban all left-footed kickers forever.

George is kicking the ball really well right now. He'll be on campus right at 200lbs. He's hitting the ball consistently between 70-75 yards on his kickoffs with height. 50 yard FGs are well within his range and his accuracy has improved. I expect that to improve over the summer working with a real snapper and holder. He has a great head on his shoulders with a great demeanor for a FG kicker. But we shall see. He has always been told he will compete day 1. IMO, he will be the KO specialist and develop into our regular FG kicker mid season with Palardy picking up the punting duties. But we shall see.

Can Bullock kick the ball off the ground? If so, he is in.

I can all but guarantee you Bullock will be the guy. I only watched him in one high school game but learned enough to know he puts Palardy to shame in every aspect of the job (not saying much). His kickoffs went over the fence behind the endzone every time, and he didn't miss a field goal. I know he hit one from outside 50 and another around 45. And he doesn't kick it into the o-line's rear ends, actually puts some height on his kicks. If he turns out to be a head case like our last two guys, then there's something wrong with our ST's coach.

Our ST coach just got here and wasn't here last year, so this is on Palardy. Just tell the kickers that the job is Bullock's to lose. Can Bullock punt?

Yeah, I was just saying we haven't had a kicker with a head on his shoulders since Walls. Definitely a plethora of coaches in and out since then.

He can punt, not sure that's the strength of his game. But he seems to be as good or better than Palardy and Darr. I'd personally like to see him focus on kickoffs and field goals/PAT's and let the other two figure out the punting.

If field goals are a head game, does hypnosis break any NCAA rules?

I don't believe it does under certain conditions. I remember one of our successful kickers in the past used a Psych professor to help him. I don't remember who it was, but he got excellent results.

Kickers can be head cases sometimes. I played with some crazy ones and I've had some crazy ones on HS teams that I've been on as part of the staff.

We'll be good on kickoffs. I really worry about FG's. It's Palardy's to lose.

What we really need the worst IMO is consistent 40+ yard punts with good hang time.

What I wouldn't give for a Faud Reviez, James Wilhoit, and one of the Colquitt's this year...

Not a Fulmerite, but he had some decent kickers/punters during his tenure. Prolly won him a few extra games that he might not have won.

P.S. Before you say it, I know Faud Reviez played for Majors, but dude was awesome...
