| Shelbyville Golden Eaglettes Head coach Allison Clark has resigned this morning. It should be interesting to see what direction the school goes in to hire a new coach. It's been a rough couple of years for a program that is probably the most tradition-rich program in all of TN Girls HS basketball. |

| I have kept up with girls basketball since the 70's and I did notice that Shelbyville has really fallen off in the last couple of years. What's going on down there? I know that when Insell was there, they would get players from all over to come there. What's up? |

Our AAU program has really gone downhill ever since Insell left. They were lining up to play for Rick, but that just isn't the case now. The resources are still here, we just need a coach who is willing to put in the effort and get to work. It won't happen overnight, as we are a long ways away from where we were 7-8 years ago. |

Overall, KT is a fantastic coach, and having seen Insell in action for many years, he knows what it's going to take to make the Eaglettes an elite program again, and I think he can get that done. In my opinion, he is the best X's and O's coach in the district, boys or girls. |

KT is a great coach and IMO he knows tough times are ahead for the boys program. Keeping him in Shelbyville is a victory for the community regardless of the program he is coaching. Its a combination of a lot of factors. Find me a coach that doesn't care about winning and losing and I will find you one that doesn't need to coach anymore. In case you haven't noticed winning games with the girls hasn't been easy either in recent years so questioning his guts might be a little harsh. Posted via VolNation Mobile
