| Maryville takes advantage of Riverdale First String qb Absence
Set up by Oak Ridge (aka Alabama) knocking Riverdale starting qb out of the game that came before the Maryville-Riverdale showdown, (cupcake scheduler)Maryville will now have to beat a good Memphis Whitehaven on a neutral field.
Side note: The same undefeated team Smyrna played and defeated at Memphis Whitehaven’s field last year , that injured two all state performers, one missing the other a former mvp running back who could only play defense, that missed the Maryville-Smyrna Showdown.
Beat Whitehaven and I will give you some credit.

Beat Whitehaven and I will give you some credit. | I guess beating Smyrna and blowing out Riverdale wasn't enough for you? I'm not sure what is more sad, the fact that you say Maryville schedules cupcakes, or the fact that you have to piggy back on another team to beat Maryville. Keep hating.

| yeah, I have been checking it out. first it was mhs can't play with the big boys. then it was that they couldn't beat a 7aaa team. now it is they couldn't compete in that district. mhs will never get respect from that area of the state. it is not like any of the kids care what message board fans think, anyhow. they'll just keep beating whoever is put in front of them.

| Maryville was able to win last year...even after their QB was injured in the 1st half, I don't think Maryville scored after the injury. | |
