| Pretty decent team, fundamentally sound but can make some mistakes. Can definitely be beaten, but will require solid play from the opposition as well. I think Giles Co. will pull this one off. |

| TSSAA is wrong ... A team that finished 8-2 in class A will be state champs ! Played seven teams out of their class, losses were too a 4a and 3a schools. Beat an average 6A. BTW, The larger schools were top ten in their class. Greenback is faux one seed. but will find out who the true one is tonight! |

I had a hard time following what you were trying to say.
1. How did the TSSAA get it wrong?
2. You say you played 7 teams out of "their" class. Who is "they"?

SP got no consideration for strength of schedule, resulting in a #3 seed. Any school could go 9-1 (greenback) against cream puffs.
Bottom line, SP plays for it's seventh state champiosn hip! |

| South Pittsburg isn't afraid of anyone . Playing two to three classes above your class makes it difficult to keep players healthy.
Alcoa is in pretty much the same boat as SP, Signal Mountain moved to 4A to avoid playing them in the play offs so its understand able that a school that is barely classA would not want to play them or any other team way above their class. SP has played Alcoa and lost both times.
SP can play with any team in their class , no dodging in the play offs. Coalfield is next !
Small school football is fun and interesting to watch ! |
