| | Senior Member | Wilson Central vs. Lebanon Central trailed most of the game. The score stood at 13-7 Lebanon well into the fourth quarter. Central scored with 5 minutes left in the fourth to go ahead 14-13. Lebanon drove the ball down the field to the 8 yard line with 6 seconds left on the clock and then the drama ensued.
The Lebanon coaches moved their kicker to the right hash probably to compensate for a tendency. After calling their last timeout the Wilson Central student section erupted. They poured out of the stands and into the grass area behind the field goal.... A smart move... they waved flags, screamed at the kicker, and ultimately contributed to a shank wide left by the Lebanon kicker
14-13 Central |

| Yup, I was there. Great game. If Lebanon had a kicker they would have won. He missed an extra point, then missed the FG that would have won the game. It was a chip shot from about the 5. A real cliff hanger and fun to watch. |

| Both teams had some decent athletes. Don't know their names because this was my first game to attend. My step daughter goes there now. #13 & #11 for Lebanon were both good athletes, very quick and elusive. They both lined up at QB at times in the wildcat formation. Wilson central also had a couple of decent running backs. #59 for Wilson Central is a monster. He play D tackle and offensive tackle. His technique on D was not good but he was so strong he overpowered his man a lot. His main problem is that he lets the blocker stand him up and doesn't get any pad leverage. With a little work I think that kid could be good. |

| Graduated and played at Lebanon. Always have had good athletes, but just don't produce as well as we should. I expect even better talent to come through their when the new Lebanon High School is built. Go Devils! and Go Vols! |

| | Senior Member | Graduated from Central in 06'. Lomanzo is a man amongst boys the paper had him listed at 6'6 375. Baxter Ingram is a pretty good LB and he was out of the game with a shoulder injury for Central... probably the best player on the D.
Central is playing Rhea County next week at home. I hear Rhea's QB is pretty solid. I'll be there for that one also. |
