| UFC 104 (Shogun Robbed) I know this is probably not the right place for this thread... But I didn't see any other place it would fit.
Anyhow.
Did anyone catch UFC 104 tonight? Shogun dominated the whole fight and yet Lyoto Machida won by unanimous decision. This was the worst decision I've ever seen!! |

| Somehow my message didn't get in there but I was actually there tonight. Wasn't that bad a call. Machida easily won first two rounds. Last three are a toss up. Could have gone either way. I was pulling for Machida. He got caught a few times but so did shogun Posted via VolNation Mobile |

| yes... machida got some shots in late, but shogun's kicks to the body were very effective.... I heard that the suspended SEC officiating crew got a one-time gig as judges.......... |

My guess is that he split the first two.
I thought Shogun should have won that fight. However, you should never leave it up to the judges. |

| The first two rounds were a toss up and at worst it's 1-1 after those two. Either way, Shogun dominated the last 3 rounds and neither of them were debatable.
It going either way is one thing, being a unanimous decision is what is so pathetic. |

| Exactly... Honestly I didn't even think it would be close... I thought for sure it would be unanimous- Shogun.
Maybe they just got the names mixed up... haha |

| only thing good I can say about the UFC now is......they don't pick the judges, they are supplied by the State's Athletic Commission!! Machida didn't win any rounds but maybe the 2nd......shoulda been 49 - 46 |

| Not to argue but if he dominated the fight why did he let it go to decision?
and isnt the #1 rule in the UFC to never let a bout go to decision?

No reasonable person who saw the fight would say Machida easily won the first two rounds. |
