Is this not a recruiting violation?

Has to be.. This was from an interview of Torrell Harris about the BBM this past weekend..

DR: Then on Saturday, what was is that you guys did on that day?

Quote:
Torrel Harris: Saturday we watched practice at 9 in the morning. From 9 o’ clock to 11. My wife went and met with the academic advisor. Then we went to Coach [Calipari]’s house. He had a big brunch there and all the players were there and we just stayed there and talked and everything and the players just relaxed. After that, we all went and met with the academic advisor, Michael Stone. Then we went back to the practice and watched the second workout and practice. We just hung out there and watched. Practice was great and Cal is great. He’s going to get this team top notch. And then after that we went back to the hotel and then out to dinner in the evening time. Patrick Patterson and the staff went out to dinner. Then Sunday we just went out to breakfast with the staff and went to practice and then left to go catch our flight. Oh yeah, after dinner on Saturday Tobias went back and hung out with the guys again. He just went and hung out with them in the Lodge. Yeah, so it was a good trip. It was really pretty good. Lot of excitement down there at Kentucky. Big time…Big time!

Recruits being at a coach's house? That's legal?

Pretty sure it's common practice.

Never heard of that one.. So a recruit can go chill at a coach's house with no telling how many duffle bags full of 20's are there, but he can't sell a candy bar outside of Texas Roadhouse?

Why would the player get a duffle bag full of 20's at the coach's house?

I'm not sure of how some of these recruits get their money.. that's one of my guesses, what is yours?

I would think some of these kids that are going to go one and done to the pros could get and easy bank loan for about whatever they needed.

You're probably right.

The NCAA should forbid recruits from going to coaches homes. That'd eliminate any chance of them getting a duffle bag full of Old Hickory's.

why would they want duffle bags full of car rims? you only need 4 and i'd bet nobody wants to carry them all night.
