I think the sole reason the PGA doesn't publicize who they fine (and how much) is so they don't have to report just how often they fine Tiger. The money obviously is meaningless to him, but the fact of the matter is this: Tiger has singlehandedly made billions of dollars for the Tour (and its sponsors) - therefore, there's sort of a gentlemen's agreement to do everything they can to keep bad publicity as far away from him as possible.

That being said, Tiger's well into his 30's. He's a Tour veteran. He's been out there well over a decade. It's time for him to grow up. He's probably one of the ten most famous people on the planet right now, and that bears a certain responsibility.

I've always been emotional and wore my emotions on my sleeve when I played sports as well. His antics don't bother me. Also, he is the best, he can do what he wants.

While I don't mind a little emotion, Tiger is the face of the PGA tour, a champion of youth golf, and a virtual "hero" of minorities. It's really poor form to drop a "GD" on live TV and throw clubs.

I thought I always heard that golf was a gentleman's game.

as for his behavior, if you've played golf and never gotten upset, cussed, thrown clubs, or whatever else on a course of playing field, then feel free to bash away. otherwise, you have no room to talk.

if you can play golf without getting pissed off occasionally more power to you. you're a better person than me.

I play golf, and I get pissed off more than occasionally. But I don't play on TV in front of hundreds of millions of people for millions of dollars. There's a difference.

If every shot I hit was caught on tape, there's no telling what you might see.

Tiger gets paid to play golf, not to be a role model for your kids.

I'm sorry but if you hit balls into holes with sticks, you need to be prepared to be a role model for children.

In other words, you suck at golf.
