That was an "AWESOME" catch! That has to go down as "the catch" of the year or even decade. Haven't seen anything come close to it. Guess this has to beat the "HAIL MARY" catch (BC/Miami game).

The catch was difficult because he had to reach around the Defender, but to compare it to any hail mary pass or anything spectacular is somewhat rediculous.

i bet more hail marys are caught than reaching around someone and not being able to see the ball but still holding on to it....that was pretty amazing

That catch didn't win a big game or anything... It was only Southern Miss.

But as far as skill/etc. in catches, that is probably the best I have ever seen

I'm going to admit, that was a VERY nice catch....But if you threw that ball the same way 9 more times I'd bet he wouldn't catch it...Better to be lucky than good...You can beat good but you can't lucky.

BTW, that is why Bammer's think Croyle is just a Quarterback God....He has good receivers all around him...That always helps

Prothro is an excellent WR, could be a 1st or 2nd round draft pick. They also have Ezekial Knight who is decent, but other than that a lot of potential but nothing else at the moment.

Definitely a spectacular catch but as the saying goes: A blind hog WILL pick up an acorn every now and then.

Charles Rogers, Braylon Edwards, James Banks, and Frank Sanders to name a few have all made better catches than that...These guys are more clutch too...
