They are up in arms down here over Phil Mushnick's column in the New York Post accusing the team from Georgia of basically cheating.

When the LLWS comes on ESPN I usually do the same thing I do when the spelling bee comes on.

It's actually fun to watch in small doses.

Probably just my displeasure of watching any type of baseball/softball on tv then. Don't enjoy waiting that long between the action unless I'm actually at a game.

I've been watching in small doses. I'm really not a fan of the Little League stlyle of ball...no leadoffs/ traditional stealing, shorter mound distance and short fences, compared with USSSA, Triple Crown, etc.

That being said, it's fun to watch the kids and families and all the emotions and experiences they are having.

Every time I think of the LLWS, I think of Danny Almonte. I wonder how many more there are like him that aren't caught?

Good game tonight between GA and CA tonight!

Funny to see a 6' kid at bat then the next kid at bat is 5'2".

What happened? I turned it off thinking GA was going to take down the CA machine. They had a 5 run lead in the 5th and lost?

Yeah. Tied up at 10 and they couldn't hang on. GA couldn't score, then let CA load the bases. Wild pitch won the game.

I was watching one game in which the strike zone was batter's box to batter's box. No wonder the pitcher had a no hitter deep into the fifth inning. I think it was Mexico.
