If the tribes are agaisnt a school using their name and likeness, then the tribes should be the ones complaining to the individual schools.

Well apparantley some group of Seminoles in Oklahoma or somewhere like that supposedly did have a problem with FSU. But then the reports changed to say that they didn't after all.

I may be wrong here, but I thought the Florida Seminoles were separate from that group.

Besides, if the Florida tribe is fine with it, why should the Oklahoma tribe have a problem?

I do think universities should listen to the tribes, if in fact it is the tribe and not just a handful of radicals who love to complain.

My problem with this whole topic is; In America, it only takes one person to complain and the culture of liberal thinking demands that if one person is offended, then society must cave to them.

The Oklahoma tribe was the one's that had to separated from the Florida tribe because of all the trouble they caused. Seems like living in Oklahoma hasn't stopped them from trying to cause trouble
