| Im just wondering, with all you intrested sports fans, that if any of you ahve any recruiting tips for a friend of mine. He's going to be a soph. in HS and is trying very hard to get a bball scholly. I know its tough, but the kid is very good, may very well start as a soph for varsity and will play with one of, if not the best players in the state of oklahoma. I know most of you will think, or say, that if hes good enough things will take care of themselves, but I dont htink thats the case. He goes to a very small school, and although they are very good, recruiters arnt exactly jumping to go there. Anyone with any experience or knowledge on how to get coaches or scouts to notice you would be appreciated. I cant wait for basketball season to see how he does, hes in a great situation. But anyone with any kind of tips, tricks, or tools to get a scholarship would be great. Thanks in advance.

"If you want to experience the best place to watch a football game in the SEC, where the only endangered species is the visiting team, go visit "The Swamp." You want loud? Florida Field is Jimi Hendrix playing "The Star Spangled Banner" at Woodstock . . . You want hot? . . . Whoever said football was no day at the beach has never been to Gainesville. It's spring break with shoulder pads . . . You want that sense of blood in the water? You want to know what it's like to swim with the sharks and run with the bulls? Pack the sunscreen and the shades and take a trip down to college football's version of Dantes Inferno. Because you know what they say, if you can't stand the heat, stay out of "The Swamp."

| In the big camps, dont you have to be invited?
I know hes playing AAU next year, and hes teammate plays for the best AAU team in the State, hopefully he can get a tryout for that team.
But for big camps like ABCD, dont you have to be invited. (if not, what are some other "big camps" (sorry, not familiar with the HS Bball circut)

| Ok I had the same problem at my highschool cause I was basically the stud of my team but Our school was really small so it was hard to get looked at. What you need to tell your freind to make a highlight tape and then there are basketball sites were colleges coaches will watch your tape and send scouts to your game. Milo knows the sites i am talking about and you can ask him.
