Tiger to miss cut?

Tiger is +5 right now - cut is projected at +4.

He needs a bird on 18 (par 5). He just bombed a drive to a point where he can probably hit a 6 or 7 iron in!

I have a feeling he'll eagle.

His putting has been terrible though. Even if he makes the cut, I doubt he'll take it.

No way he wins it but missing the cut would be big.

Leader (Mickelson) is at -8. 78 players are +4 or better.

He's on the green about 15 feet with two putts to make the cut.

His drive was 358! He just hit a 7 iron 196.

Tiger has NEVER missed a cut in a major as a professional. Pretty friggin' amazing.

He's going to have to shoot a couple of 65s to have any shot.

Anything is possible with Tiger.

Odds though say no - he'll have to pass about 70 players.

Working in his favor is that while Phil is -8, the other leaders are closer (one at -5 and several at -4).

If he can get within 5 or 6 of the pack tomorrow, Sunday should be interesting. He was hitting the ball very well today.

Tiger is so freakishly good that he can be so bad as to hit a 75 one day and the very next day shoot a 60. I bet tiger shoots a 63 tommorrow to get him back in the hunt.
