Kurt Busch is leaving Roush to go to DEI or Penske.....Wonder who he will go to? This is averry interesting turn of events.

I heard it would be Penske in the 2 car. I also heard today that Kenseth was going to DEI. I don't know if either rumor is true, but it makes me wonder what is going on at Roush

From the article I read, looks like the #2 car.

I'm not a big Kurt Busch fan. Rusty is one of my favorite drivers. Sure hate to see him leave, but understand that family comes first and that 36 weeks is a long season. At one time there were 48 races in the season.

Kurt to the #2 car in 2007.....MyBlood, I heard the same thing but I also heard where Kenseth said he wasn't going anywhere so I doubt that rumor is true...I also heard Casey Mears mentioned too but I haven't heard anything about that one...Gosh I hope he don't come....The guys in the body shop will be busier than usual LOL

Seriously, another one I heard concerning DEI is that Mikey may change his mind and stay put. That's the one I hope is true because I think he is a perfect fit for that 15 car, plus the Dominoes commercials just won't be the same without him and Dale arguing over who is the real Mr NASCAR :laugh1:

LOL, I know what you mean....First time I seen the "King Daddy" commercial I about laughed till I cried.....That was the funniest commercial I had seen in a while...I hadn't heard that rumor about Mikey though...I don't care if he stays put one way or another....Jr. will have a VERY Good teammate next year in Truex...Even if he is a Rookie, I expect big things from him next year...He's a driver...I'm just glad DEI didn't let him get away

I can't wait to see Truex in the 1 next year either. He will definitely elevate both teams. I still hope that Mikey will stay at least one more year thougfh. He was Dale Sr's choice to drive the 15, and proved it was a great move by winning the first time out. I just wish Dale could've celebrated that one with the team. :cry:

Yeah I know it....I hated Dale Sr. but I respected him...the sport hasn't been the same without him....I miss him....But Truex will make everyone step up their game in the DEI stable...No one will want to get out done by a Rookie..I like all the paint schemes they've got on that car....That is a sharp car...Got a good driver...Looking forward to next year...Jr's hope of the Chase was dashed this past weekend barring a miracle...Who knows though? I doubt it happens

That's wild. I think you're the first Jr fan I've ever met who wasn't a fan of Sr. That's cool because it shows that he would've had alot of fans even if he wasn't the son of a legend. I on the other hand am a Jr far mainly I guess because I was such a fanatical fan of his father's. I started pulling for him when he was in the Busch series, but he became my main driver after Dale died.

I never liked Dale Sr. because I was raised to hate him...Just like Jeff Gordon...I was raised to hate him LOL.....I was raised to hate Dale Sr. but respect him...The man could drive a race car....I was just raised to straight up hate Gordon though LOL....But, I was never really a Jr. fan when he was in the Busch series...I started liking him when he came up into Cup....I really do believe, like you said if he wasn't the son of a legend, he would still have a ton of fans.....He's the most popular driver in NASCAR and he is for a reason...Whe nI was smaller, I used to like Ernie Irvan(Ole glass eye LOL)...I also used to like DJ....But they just don't have it now....My two main guys are Stewart and Jr....At least one of them are winning LOL...I think Jr. will be back in form next year though

I started pulling for Ernie after he came back from the crash. That last win at Michigan was awesome! My main drivers are Dale Jr, Smoke, Mikey, and Truex. It obviously goes without saying that I'm a total Danica fanatic. I'm also a huge Deborah Renshaw fan. I met Deborah on Thursday. hahaha.....Jr. and Smoke..But for the most part, anyone that don't drive for Rick Hendrick....Smoke will come through this weekend for 5 of 7 LOL....He could win the next 3 or 4 more weeks if you think about it....Oh yeah, I was watching ESPN and I think they will be having Danica on there today or tonight at 6 or something...I just know I heard them mention she would be on there....

Smoke wins again. Right now, he's almost unbeatable.

I saw Danica on Sportcenter. She was on pole at Kentucky. Damn, I thought she had a shot, but she lost a gearbox. Oh well, they've still got a couple of road courses coming up where she should be strong. :bow:
