Yeah, it's fun watching a "no-name" jump to golf celebrity like this. Nobody's catching Retief, though. He's solid as a rock, you can see it in his eyes. On an Open course, emotion is often the worst enemy.

The problem I have with Gore is that I don't trust anybody that buttons the top button of their golf shirt.

Do you eat fast food? It's been a while (a LONG while, thanks to the movie "Supersize Me"), but last time I was burger-shopping, I noticed that particular fashion trend had spread to the cashiers.

The only fashion trend I've noticed at fast food joints is the strange propensity the managers have for wearing ties that are grossly too short.

Campbell played extremely well! Talking about pressure. Tiger was pressing and putting on the squeeze, but MC held on. I think this is the first time I've seen Tiger sorta succomb to the pressure!

I think this type stuff is really good for golf as a whole!

Way to go, Mike Campbell! :rocks:

I suppose it's acceptable with the way that course was playing. I would be leaving those holes with a set of bent clubs, I can tell you that much.

I'm pretty certain that mine would be in the drink somewhere after about 2 holes.

Congrats to Campbell for holding on under pressure at the end. It was pretty sad to watch Goosen play the way he did. . . .Guess that under those "steely" eyes, he was human after all. Gore's 84 kinda tore me up too, especially after the emotional intro about Father's Day.

That's why they say nobody wins the US Open. They just give the trophy to the lone survivor.

GA, you've still got your swing, right? How do you reckon you would have done this weekend?
