Would be huge for Nashville if this happens.

Ranger forward Derek Boogaard found dead in his apartment, 28 years old. Damns shame, RIP.

I think this makes a bit of sense, although it would leave the playoff setup unanswered.

Also need to note that Phoenix isn't looking like a long term home, and an upcoming stadium referendum will more or less determine if the Islanders are moving.

Here's a random question but has Las Vegas ever been a consideration for an NHL franchise?

Since I'm not a diehard fan, sometimes I forget many of the Canadian teams no longer exist.

Detroit and Toronto definitely need to be in the same confrence, if not division.

I don't have a problem with this breakdown, but you can't take St Louis away from Chicago and Detroit. Too much history there.

Toronto fits nicely with the Habs and Sabres though. Maybe they shift west if a club ends up in Quebec City.

So what's the call for the East?

I'm thinking Boston has won in spite of their special teams, Tampa in 5, IMO.

I like the Nineteens in 6.

Should be a great goaltender matchup.

Did you see the NHLN special about Roloson and Thomas? Pretty neat, Tim was all about going to UMass Lowell, but Roloson won AA as a junior, so he went to Vermont to play with Marty San Louis

Wow, Massacre. Feel bad for Thomas, he's been where he needs to be. Defense is embarassing.
