Well, 11 days to the lockout and no real movement. Good article in the WSJ yesterday about it.

NHLPA's counteroffer for CBA could arrive Thursday - WSJ.com

Word is only 4 owners are actively participating in negotiations, and there won't be anymore face to face until Monday at the earliest. Absolutely no chance that the owners let the players work without a CBA, and I don't blame them on that end.

Buccigross made a good point this morning, several teams will lose less money by not having a season than they would by playing.

It all boils down to a "clubs in poor markets" issue as opposed to a salary issue
