| 4.5? who are all these people betting on UCLA? I know vegas is close to LA so the LA teams tend to get some extra points, but this is insane. |

| Some gamblers may be looking at last year's loss to an eventual 7-6 Cal on the road as a possible indication of this year's match up. That may be all they personally saw of Tennessee. But I think California was better than their record indicated, and even then was superior on paper to this UCLA team. This UCLA team would be extremely lucky to end up with 7 wins. |

| Maybe they think we are slow starters, like last year, and the trip to UCLA to face the trio of coaches the world loves so much will be too much for this team. A friend of mine in Long Beach said they think Chow will out scheme us. Keep the ball away from UT and hope for a low scoring win. |

It's going to be awfully tough keeping the ball away from us, when their offensive line is so depleted. Even UCLA's sports writers have been talking about how dreadful they've been this fall camp. If our front 7 are half decent, we should be in the backfield all day long.

| LA Tech at home getting 8.5 vs. Miss St.
Fresno State getting 5.5 vs. Rutgers
Pretty good 3 team parlay (w/ UT) |

just a trend to think about if you really want to wager on this game. I never ever bet on Tennessee games.
even when it looks like a definite UT blow out, you never know when Fulmer is going to sit on a 3-7 pt. lead.
I would definitely stop short of calling this game a "lock"...
all that said, if you ask me if I think we will cover the 7.5, yes, I do. |

Pretty good 3 team parlay (w/ UT) | There's no such thing as a good parlay.

| Some factoids. 2007 UCLA 30, Cal 21
2006 UCLA 13, So Cal 9
2005 UCLA season 10/2
UCLA will be better than most people think.
I just hope we are also.
Good luck with the bet, I hope we win
the game easily but having watched
every UT/UCLA game, I would bet that
the Bruins will play hard and won't give
up no matter what.
GO VOLS! |

coming around til the ND game.
They were 4/1 at that point.
Then next week they came back
and beat Cal.
UCLA ruined my pickums last year,
the gloves are off now, if we don't
beat 'em by 4 TDs, I'm POed. |
