| I am going to apologize first. I certainly didn't mean for this thing to ever go to this level. This started with a beginner asking for advice over on the golf thread. I popped in and told him the most important thing right now was to make sure he kept his eye on the ball and his head down through impact. IE pops in and says I am wrong and don't know what I am talking about. Okay...look at it from my standpoint....a guy with a handicap of 12 or 13 telling me I don't know what I am talking about. Basic fundamentals of the game. I did say something like "until you have played college golf, been to numerous national amatuer events and can beat most everyone in a 50 mile radius, you shouldn't be arguing with me". My fault for saying it.
So I apologize. It is over
Any of you who might want to play on a Friday before a UT game, just let me know. I can get us on virtually any course in Knoxville area, including Holston or Fox Den. YOu can decide then if I know what I am talking about. We can have a friendly game |

In all seriousness, we need a Volnation golf get together. We have talked about it for too long. Perhaps we can put something in stone before the Florida game this year.
I will definitely take you up on your offer, and gladly accept tips on my game. |

Big Papa has said he was interested as well. Before the Fla game would be perfect. We will have to pay green fees.... |

| i've been trying to keep up on the live leader board.
looks like Couples is one off the number. early speculation is +5 for the cut, so he may need a few more strokes to be safe. i hope he can slip in. |

| I hope Freddie makes the cut too. He has always been one of my favorites. Great attitude and great natural talent...heck, he is a great athlete. One of the coolest out there too. |
