Posted via VolNation Mobile | Long Point is ultra private. I have an uncle with a house there and also a member of the club. I spend my Thanksgivings there with him and family. We usually play Long Cove twice, Palmetto Dunes (Fazio) and Wexford. Dont' care a lot for Harbour Town. It is not in the best shape that time of year, plus Long Cove is a much better course anyway. Don't much like the Trent Jones course at Palmetto Dunes either. Not much to it. Love Haig Point at Daufuskie. Only played it once, but hope to go over there this year. One of the best courses in the area(off of the plantation) is Secession. Very tough and old school. |

| Haven't hit the big names.
The biggest name course I played was the Dubsdread course at Cog Hill right before they hosted the Western Open.
The most expensive I played were Waikiloa Resort in HI and some course on St. Thomas.
Locally, a course called Limestone Springs is my favorite - great value.

The ball sure takes some funny bounces off of lava flows...

| Local: River Islands. It's a beautiful piece of land, challenging course, even from the whites. (I don't pretend to be good enough to move back to the blues.)
Out-of-town: The Witch, Myrtle Beach, SC.
I need to travel more. (sigh) |

Lived in Monterey for a while and played almost all of those courses, save Cypress Point. Sawgrass was a grad school buddy trip. |
