An Undefeated Season

Why is it that College Football is the only sport that usually at least 1 undefeated team in it?....but in any other sport teams rarely if ever go undefeated

Because other sports play at least twice as many games as the football programs do.

Not only is the season so short, but most major college football teams also play 25% of their games against teams that are so bad that their second and third string should be able to pound them. Imagine if the Cowboys had three or four Big 12 teams on the schedule every year, for example.
