Jack. Easy.

My favorite, ever, though is Greg Norman.

This really isn't a fair question as there are other choices outside of Jack

I have always been a huge fan of Bobby Jones. I've read everything I can about him. Bobby Jones played golf as a true amateur. His golf was not played like a professional of today, with swing coaches, and tedious schedules to maximize his chances for winning. He did not play daily, and often didn't even play weekly. Yet he is the only person to ever win a true Grand Slam. I suppose he'll probably be the only man to ever win a TRUE Grand Slam. We can talk about Career Slams, Tiger Slams, but there's really only one way to win a true Grand Slam and that is to win all four major titles in the same season. Bobby did that in a 4 month stretch in 1930. When we imagine that he did it with equipment that today could only be called antique, it is even more impressive. His devotion to the game and his love for the game, and not the money, makes him an enduring icon of those who perform for the love of the game. Along the way he became a practicing attorney, earned a doctorate in English Lit, I believe from Harvard, and in his spare time won 11 majors.

[b]Bobby Jones, an American golfer, was one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. In 1930, Jones became the only player ever to win the United States Open, the British Open, the United States Amateur, and the British Amateur tournaments in one year. These were the world's four major golf events at that time. After completing this "Grand Slam," Jones retired from tournament play at the age of 28.

Between 1923 and 1930, Jones won 13 major titles. In addition to his Grand Slam, he won the U.S. Open in 1923, 1926, and 1929; the British Open in 1926 and 1927; and the U.S. Amateur in 1924, 1925, 1927, and 1928.

I stand corrected. I wrote from memory, and as my moniker might indicate, that's not what she used to be. I really thought it was 11, but even at 11 it was an amazing feat for such a short career which was often cut short by his other interests.

Honestly, I didn't know much about Bobby Jones until I read that so it was more for informational purposes

But right now, Tiger is not the best. Maybe in years from now but right now? No way
