A lot of the games are on classic. I"m not sure if all of them are, but a lot of them are.

Also a lot of games on ESPN 2. A few on ESPN. There are a couple games on ABC, but for the next few weeks it will be mostly ESPN Classic and ESPN 2.

I saw the news reports that were stating how disapointing the ticket sales were.
Just checked online, there were exactly zero World Cup games played in San Antonio in 1994.

how is Rooney one of the best players in the world if the place is littered with the best athletes?

Because he can dribble and shoot? Not like every sports star in America is super athletic. Peyton Manning and Tom Brady aren't exactly super athletic.

they're playing a position that doesn't require great athleticism and everyone knows it. They need arm strength, accuracy and quick decision making. There's not a similar position in soccer. Not the same for Rooney. He play in a spot where it would ssem he needs blazing speed to beat the other great athletes.

I'll not argue if it was WC or not or a play in game what ever the hell y'all do. But it was during the WC time frame and there were foreigners in town wearing their Soccer crap and telling all of us dumb Americans how we should like soccer (kinda like some of you here). The only difference is I don't have to look at your messed up teeth like I did those Euro trash punks when they spouted the "good" of the hobby known as soccer.

Kinda like how I and most all of America feels when Sports Center does their obligatory, political correct soccer report.
