Aaron Rodgers or Alex Smith. I think they both are pretty even in my opinion. It's a toss up between Braylon Edwards and Mike Williams, depending on the teams needs.

There's also talk of the Dolphins and 49'ers trading away their top picks, which would change the whole dynamic of the draft.

Either way, I think Braylon Edwards has the highest stock of any player in the draft. All he needs is some more consistent play and he could hang with the best of them.

Tennessee-Cedric Benson

At this point, it looks like Benson could still be on the board when the Titans pick. Despite having Chris Brown at RB, they have no depth at the position and Brown has missed considerable time in his first 2 seasons with injuries. In addition, Brown is weak in short yardage situations due to his tall frame and upright running style. The addition of Benson would give the Titans a dynamic 1-2 punch at RB and it could enable the Titans to restore the power run game to their offense that has been missing since 2000. Benson would help the Titans in their short-yardage and goal-line situations, allow the offense to control the clock and use play-action to help protect McNair, and restore a physical presence to the team that's frankly been missing in recent years. A power run game would also help protect a defense and be ideal in matchups versus teams like the Colts.

What about a QB for the Titans? McNair is coming back, yes, but we don't know if his health will hold out, and I doubt he's got much time left anyhow. There are a lot of lesser-known QB's in the draft this year who have a lot of upside.

The Titan camp seems to be changing its mind ever 3 seconds.
1. We might trade up for Mike Williams
2. Oh but we might have to pick Alex Barron
3. I love that Cedric Benson kidd
4. and the latest
Reese said he considers Utah's Alex Smith and California's Aaron Rodgers ''franchise'' quarterbacks, the type of players the Titans haven't been able to select in recent years because their success left them picking in the back half of the first round.

It looks to me like they are trying to conceal there intentions for a trade down, but if they don't I still think they will get Benson.

I wouldn't mind see the Titans get Kyle Orton.

There was some talk of him being the product of the team that surrounded him, rather than a sheerly good QB. You think that has any truth to it? I mean, there were periods where he was streaky, throwing under 50% in the back half of the season.

I think the titans could go after a corner this year, than next year (because they are going to struggle), go get matt linehart.

agreed. the titans secondary has gone from pretty good to nothing in less than a month. i don't care if we have to play a rooke. titans need a conrer or a free safety or something. i think mcnair will do ok this year if he doesn't GET INJURED.

could be....the dolphins are showing intrest in matt jones(arkansas QB) to play mybe te...althlete etc...as well as a back im hoping ronnie brown. Also a tweener guy pass rushing de/lb. If the dolphins take the USC wideout its probably gonna be as trade currency....possibly intrested in julius peppers.
