Who are your top five alltime NASCAR drivers?

Do you have a particular reason for your choices?

1) Richard Petty-The KING!
2) Dale Earnhardt-The MAN!
3) Curtis Turner-Cause he made them finish the Charlotte Speedway when they ran out of money! And he was a real character! His son lives up here where I'm from.
4) Jimmy Spencer-The RENEGADE!
5) Jimmy Johnson-He drives hard.

Least favorite-Jeff Gordo-The WHINER!

plus they had like 65 races a season. OVERRATED.

tim richmond would have been a great but he tragically died of aids. nobody knows about him much.

Agreed. There's a group of drivers that really had all the right stuff to be title winners that left us too early:

Tim Richmond
Davey Allison
Rob Moroso
Kenny Irwin
Adam Petty
Alan Kulwicki

I think Neil Bonnett had some wins left in him if he hadn't died.
