Jimbo Fisher will get a multimillion dollar buyout if he is not named hfc when Deddy Bowden retires. Intersting strategy in that this will probably dissuade anyone from trying to poach Jimbo and they already have a clear line of succession established. | Why would you even want to be the guy who follows a CFB icon like Bowden....Tough shoes to fill historically but stastically it can't get any worse.

You could not possibly be more wrong. The fans of the school -- and many of the main donors and powerful alumni -- are beside themselves waiting for Bowden to reitre. They will givew him his due and honor him, to be sure, but they'll also be dancing in the streets when the retirement party is over. | |
