| Arkansas it would be Funny if it wasn't so Sad Well Arkansas' is caught in another coaching quandry.
First it was the BBall program.
We're getting Bill Self, Billy Gillespie....
Then Dana Altman leaves them at the alter, and they get John Pelphery
Now they buyout Nutt's contract to the tune of $3.6MM.
Then it's were getting Butch Davis, Tommy Tuberville, Terry Bowden.....
Butch signs and extension with NC, TT stays at Auburn, and Bowden leverages Arkansas offer into a raise and an extension at Clemson.
I believe the whole state is ready to implode

I believe the whole state is ready to implode | They still got the Clinton's. It's all good.

| In a couple years, everyone around here is going to regret ever running Houston Nutt out of town. |

| There's talk of them going after Malzahn at Tulsa... if that's the case, mark it on my calendar, Oct. 25: Ole Miss at Arkansas. |

| Arkansas will soon learn that it's better to play for 3rd in the west than for 5th in the west.
Nutt was about the best they could ask for. |

| Maybe one of the Waltons would take a pay cut to come down from their ivory tower in Bentonville...they probably couldn't coach worth a flip, but the concessions at the football stadium would be a lot cheaper.

| Had Butch Davis waited one more year, he'd be at his alma mater instead of being stuck in the ACC. Had Arkansas landed him, things would be different. Now, they'll probably end up like the basketball team and settle for Plan B or C. |

| If I were Broyles, I would call Chris Hatcher and be done with all of this. At this point it isn't going to get any better. |

But if the basketball coach search was anything to go by, Broyles has Butch Davis, Pete Carroll, Jimmy Johnson and Bob Stoops as frontrunners with noone to fill in if they turn down the job opportunity.

| I can't think of anything I'd rather see than Malzahn getting the job and dropping the GTFO hammer on Herring. |
