That's a run-on sentence but I don't care. |

That's a run-on sentence but I don't care. | a) this is their 6th straight bcs game and 3rd straight rose bowl. Michigan showed last year what happens when you think you are a national title team and you are used to going to rose bowls.
b) they wont respect Ill
c) Ill will be up for the game
d) the last two teams they've played (texas and oregon) with mobile QBs running the spread beat them (oregon beat them fairly easily all of 3 weeks ago).
Now that's not to say USC can't or wont win, but I'm taking the points. |

they beat Illinois........playing in the rose bowl....they beat KS....playing in the Orange Bowl...........not fair.
Mizzou/VT would be a far more entertaining and enticing match up.
i mean congrats to KS and all, but they simply didn't do anything to get there but lose at the right time. there is absolutely no reward for playing for a conf. title unless you win it. otherwise, the reality is it's not even worth playing in it.

I mean for example Tenn and UGA. Uga has 2 less losses than us but we did beat them. Thats all the same with Kansas and Mizz as you brought up. |

we were the benefactor's in '99 when we got an at large berth for the Fiesta after having not played in the title game.

do you really think VT is going to run Kansas out of the stadium? I think this game will be closer than expected.

Mizzou got screwed | I could care less if that game is close. It has the entertainment value of a swimsuit contest between Bea Arthur and Star Jones. |
