Looks like the Big East refs are doing their best to try and screw Pitt, thereby ensuring the $20million payday the conference gets if W.Va. plays in the BCSCG.

i really think that in these situations the BCS should require the conference to use substitute refs from another conference that does not have a team in the top 5 of the BCS.

I think I'd just rather WVa win this one and not give UGA a chance for the title.

If UGA goes, UTK will get an additional half million to million $$$. UGA is already going to a BCS game. Might as well give an SEC team a shot at the title.

It's possible, since LSU beat us tonight, they skip ahead of UGA. Wouldn't UGA fans hate us then?

I'll come clean. Nobody is rooting harder for WVU than I am tonight. However, the officiating in this game has been criminal.

The officiating is terrible in this game...in particular the end of the 4th quarter.

Phantom holding call against PITT and then don't call the obvious holding against West Virginia.

If UGA goes to the national title game without even winning their division ahead of other 2 loss teams that won their conference, the whole system is a farce.

I feel the same way. Those holding calls have been unreal, but I think WVU is in the process of pulling one of the great choke jobs of the past 20 years.

They've gotten what they deserve. Also, all those people who were ripping OU earlier for losses to what everyone calls inferior teams can now explain how Stoops isn't better than 99% of his peers.

The only good thing about this WVU loss, now we get to see Ohio St. get dismantled by someone, and all the OSU fans that have been crying about how they should be in the NC can pout for another year.

Pitt deserved that one. If OU wins my guess is VaTech or LSU plays Ohio State.

I imagine one or all of USC, LSU, OU, and VT may leapfrog them. This is going to be a rough year for the BCS. West Virginia really screwed everything up.

If VT goes over LSU, what does that say about head to head matchups? LSU gave Beamer his worst loss ever. 48-7.

I know LSU lost down the stretch, but head to head games should determine something.

I was rooting for WVU also hat, I was listening in my car and the announcers were talking about how terrible the officiating was.
