Ron Zook....proof of the SEC's superiority to the Big 10
We all remember what this guy did with Florida....

He took a school with a talent hotbed in its backyard, also recruited some of the best players from other parts of the nation, and somehow managed to only win about 7 games a year...

I firmly believe a monkey could coach UF to 7 wins a season with the kind of talent that they attract...

And now look at what the same goofball is doing in the Big-10....he's beating some of the best teams that the conference has to offer...including THE Ohio St.

Am I being a homer...or is this further proof of our conferences supriority?

Maybe the guy really does know how to coach? Maybe he learned something while at UF that he has carried with him to Illinois? Maybe the UF job was a bad situation for him and his style?
Maybe the SEC is head and shoulders above the big 10?

Les Miles is proof that great talent can overcome coaching ineptitude. It's tough, but can be done.

I dont know that it really "proves" anything.. However I do think the SEC is probably the best all around conference. I dont know that last year necessarily proved anything but it was nice to see the top sec teams win their bowl games with ease. Florida with OSU and LSU beating ND... Also before anyone else says anything yes I know what happend with our bowl game last year..
