| How will it be? How will it be at the end of the weekend in not only the SEC, but the top 25? We saw BC get past their first test last night to start out this College Football Weekend, but what about the rest? Step away from just the SEC and take a look at all the confrences. Kansas at aTm, Ohio State in Happy Valley, Cal and Arizona State, and "The Cocktail Party". Its a great weekend for looking at these matchups. How do you see it all turning out and most importantly, who will survive the upset? Your thoughts?

| this year, there's no way to know.
i was hoping for a BC loss last night and when i went to bed, i thought that's what happened. i was stunned when i woke up this morning to see BC Win it in the last two minutes. they were awful all night long. oh well, it's still a good win on the road against a good team.
as for the rest of the weekend......
KS is the wild card. we're going to find out about them over the next 4 weekends. A&M can beat them, as can Mizzou. AZ St also gets a big test this weekend with an angry Cal team. i think Cal gets back to winning ways this weekend and ASU gets their first loss. I think the ore/usc game is the most intriguing of the weekend. i wont' be surprised either way, but i think i'm rooting for the ducks so the trojans should win.
i think FL continues its winning ways against the dawgs.
osu/psu...the game is set up for OSU to lose. However, i just don't think PSU is all that great. I don't have a good read on this game, cause i'm not convinced that OSu is all that good either. and beating PSU won't convince me of that either. OSU wins.
so OSU remains #1, and LSU moves to # 2 thru attrition since ORe will probably lose. FL gets back in to the top 10. and OK gets back in to the top 4.

| SC's defense will shut down that oregon offense IMO. Take the under in that game.
I think Cal wins (not sure if it's my homer self talking). Nate is finally close to 100% and ASU hasn't seen an offense of this caliber. That and tedford owns ASU. Though I wouldn't be surprised with any outcome, cal blowout, ASU blowout, whatever. Carpenter is a vastly overrated QB though. |

| i don't think there's any doubt that the level of comp. ASU faces down the stretch is the "meat" of their schedule.

| Ive had a chance to look at em now so here is what I think:
Ohio State has a challenge at Joe Pa's place. I say they sneak by and get the w.
Arizona State gets Cal off gaurd but not by much.
Oregon over the Trojans. Which uniforms are they wearin is what I want to know.
WV all over Rutgers.
Kansas drops to my Aggies in one of the loudest stadiums in the south. I'll be there for my B-Day too so I can contribute.
South Florida gets their manhood back and blows out UCONN.
Mizzou beats Iowa.
Kentucky over Miss St, but its closer than what we think.
Va over NC State.
The Visor gives Fulmer all he wants and more.
Hawaii- easy.
Florida- I hate to say that.
Michigan-easy
and
Auburn in a blowout over Ole Miss.
I might be nuts but thats how I see it as of 11:09 Texas Time on Friday. It will probablly change, and soon. Your thoughts?

| The only other defense that oregon has played with any speed is cal and cal held them to 24 points. SCs defense is 100000000000X faster and better than Cal's. Unfortunetly I think SC wins and the hype starts building again. |

I think all "football" aside, that is what I will despise the most. It will be like this Ohio State = #1 phase we are struggling through now. I hate it.

| How about the SEC or the Big 12 being represented for a National Championship. Stoops isnt going away, and I feel certain that he could beat 3 of the top 5. And there is always LSU and their 1 loss.

Ohio St, ASU and BC need to lose to free up both spots, which i think they all will at some point, and both obviously have to win out.

| the trip to Bama i guess seems a little more daunting now, but i expect LSU to be able to handle the Tide a little better than we did.
after that, it's ole miss and ark. they should win both easily.
the game that would worry me most assuming they do win out, would be the potential rematch with FL.
that could be very interesting.

The only decent offense ASU has played is OSU and they had like 400+ yards of offense against them and would have won if their qb didn't turn it over 4 times. |
