USF vs Rutgers

No thread?

Eventful game so far. Rutgers is a much stronger team, but they have muffed two punts, keeping it close.

They are up 20-17 and driving, RR is carving up USF.

Thoughts?

27-17 RU.

Blocked a FG. Drove down field then faked a FG for a TD!!

I've been able to watch slices of it here and there. Fake field goals are brilliant when they work, aren't they?

South Florida's a good team, but that's all they are. A good team. Not a serious NC contender.

(More NFL players on their defense than we have, though.)

A couple of excellent calls by Rutgers tonight on the fake punt and FG.

Would really be interesting if either of these no name teams were ranked. What's that you say, South Florida is #2 in the country? That's amazing.

Anyone see Grothe's dad early in the game. I can't read lips but I'm pretty sure he said:

"Catch the ball, god-d****t"
