| Upsets are great, but to an extent. College football is having a down year. The little guys will enjoy it, but it isn't great football. |

| cal is playing their backup qb whose thrown 3 career passes. but he's looked pretty good they have just made too many mistakes and TO's.
BC at #2, USF at #3? what a year! |

| Cals QB makes one of the worst mistakes i have ever seen, probably costing his team a shot at a national title. Cal loses. |

| wow what a game. two incredibly entertaining games today, if not just incredibly significant ;)
cal's hawkins had 9 catches for 192 yards.. wow. whatever happens cals 3 receivers are the best trio anywhere this year.
they cant really be mad at the redshirt freshman, no experience and he played great until that last crazy mistake. |

| i think thats the sort of ending for any team that would make diehard fans cry ;)
cal fans shouldnt be too upset, they were going to lose at LEAST one game but now they should be more focused at least. last year after tennessee they went on to win 10 games and 8 straight.
oregon state's should be undefeated with their defense that's held teams to 40 yards rushing/g. cal had four times that tonight but osu just didnt turn it over which cost them their previous losses and cal did. osu had THREE consecutive fumbled kick offs a couple weeks back i believe. |

| i figured we'd drop one game at least, but I just hope we win out till SC. god that was painfull. I'm already 5 drinks in after that game. it wasn't riley's fault really. you turn it over 3 times and hand them 17 points and you cant punch it in on first and goal at the 1 and you don't deserve to win. i can't remember a more painful loss. we had a chance for a special season and completely blew it. for a freshman qb (or any qb really) he played amazing. I just hope that screwup doesn't ruin him for life because he could be a special qb.
