| I'll take USC over UK. UK is a nice story, but not a lot of substance there. They beat a no D Louisville and had a good win against a decent Arky team on the road. |

| Thanks for the update! I had tickets to the UT/USC game at the end of October but I guess they are worthless now since you have let me know the outcome of all the games. Damn...
(at least spell congratulations right) |

(at least spell congratulations right) | Yea, I got tickets to that game as well. Evidently USC has already won it. Dang it. |

| If SC loses to UF and UGA wins out then the Dawgs win the East. |

Congradulations Spurrier on winning the SEC East. | In that scenario, Florida and SC would both have 2 conference losses...Florida would win the division in a tie-breaker. |

| It is WAY too early to say who will win the East. Almost every team can just win out and win it, providing Florida drops one more.
Come talk to me in a week or two when teams have a few more losses. Your assumption that USC will win out is a bit flawed, imo. |

| Oklavol, it's not quite that easy.......... Quote:

if you're playing the odds though, here's the remaining schedules for each:
SC: KY, Vandy, @TN, @ARK, FL
KY: @SC, LSU, FL, MSU, @vandy, @GA, TN
FL: @LSU, @KY, GA, VAndy, SC
so all three have to play each other, so as of today, all three control their own destiny. and as good as KY has been, they have the toughest road.
GA and TN both w/one loss in the division need help, starting with beating the other this weekend, and then watching the other three lose. SC and FL only need to lose once more, and since KY still has to play both, those games can take care of themselves.....
Niether GA or TN can afford another loss though.....so both HAVE to win out and need some help. |

| Does anybody else think it's funny that UK is currently ranked ahead of UF?

| I've got this nagging premonition that KY takes the East this year. Their rolling snowball of a season is about to turn into an avalanche. |
