| Will Les Miles coach Michigan in '08? hearing this more and more on radio and Internet, that he might leave LSU even if he wins the BCSNC due to slighty lesser fan expecations and the possibility of a Sabanesque salary offer. |

| Seems like a lateral move to me. He's got a good group of players at LSU, not so at Michigan. |

| If the perception is that Miles isn't a good enough coach for all of the talent he has at LSU, would we really want LSU on the search for a new and possibly better HC?

| why would michigan want him? And btw: it's easier to win at michigan than LSU. First off, it's an easier conference. And second, you have generations of 5 star players who would go to michigan if Lou Holtz's corpse was the coach. Any idiot can win 10 games a year at michigan. |

| why make a lateral move, leaving a program that could potentially play for a NC, to take over a program that's been declining. LSU can match the money Michigan offers. |

Seeing how he played there in 1974,75 for Bo Schembecler and was his assistant there for a few years .I just wonder if Carr will make it through the entire year. |

From a national perspective, Michigan is a more prestigious job than LSU. He can compete for championships in Ann Arbor more easily than he can compete for them in the SEC. Other than Ohio St., there's really no powerhouse program to compete with. |

| One thing I've figured out, no one really knows what these coaches are going to do. I'd like to see him leave. Despite what most people say about him, he has kept LSU a powerful and efficient machine. I would love to see someone screw that up. |

I would say that coaching at Michigan is probably looked on as one of the most elite coaching jobs in college football. |
