The Cats have blown it open in the 2nd half. It was 14-14 at the half, now 56-20 in the closing minutes.

Defense has a long way to go. We had a horrible first half with Kent´s mobile QB. Tebow will give us fits if he takes off like that. OTOH, we outscored them 42-6 in the 2nd half, and the defense shut them down.

I could see you guys having a tough time with Florida... Kentucky's a nice team and all, but competing with the big boys in the SEC is still yet another level up.

However, you can be damned sure I'm going to be tuning in to the Bluegrass Battle in hopes of a touchdown-laden bloodbath.

There is no doubt that Tebow can beat us with his legs. It´s our bugaboo. But, I think we have a chance to score some points on Florida (and Louisville, too) with defenses that are a bit weaker than the past. Florida gave up 31 points to Troy. Louisville´s defense certainly is suspect.

Can we compete with the so-called "big boys?" I think so. We DID beat one of them last year, and almost beat another one, if it´s not for a play clock penalty. Also, the "big boys" aren´t as big as they used to be. Are we ready to to win the SEC title? Probably not, but definitely, I think we can compete for it pretty convincingly. These aren´t your daddy´s Kentucky Wildcats.

I have no idea what to expect out of the Battle of the Bluegrass this Saturday, but there should be plenty of points scored. Key will be rattling Brohm with the rush.
