| On another note, Virginia Tech is a Fraud! ...only up 10-7 against ECU. |

| I never understood why everyone thought the Hokies were a National Championship contender. Their defense doesn't even look very good right now. |

| ECU is not the least bit intimidated...if it werent for an awful pass by a QB making his first start, VT may not even have a lead...
...ECU just forced a VT fumble. |

| ECU's D held WVU's offense in check last yr...this is no surprise. We'll see how good VT is next week at LSU.

| I don't get any joy in saying it, but I think it's pretty clear by now that VATech got some major sympathy voting in the preseason polls. The announcers keep trying to explain it away as "emotional exhuastion," but from what I'm seeing, this team just ain't real good. Kudos to ECU, though..they came ready to play! |

| As of right now, I'm having flashbacks to UT 2005. This game seems a lot like the UT-UAB opener. A poor performance against a mediocre team. VT is also heavy on defense, light on offense. I doubt Beamer will let the Hokies fall as far as UT did, but I think at this point they aren't looking so hot. |
